THINGS TO DO IN FARNHAM
In the summer months the town hosts many events including Picnic in the Park in May, Music in the Park every Sunday afternoon at Gostery Meadows, Farnham and Hale Carnivals and a regular farmers market on the fourth Sunday of every month. Farnham’s surrounding villages including Frensham, Rowledge and Crondall could well be considered a dog walker’s haven. With a number of popular walking spots including Farnham Park, Frensham Ponds, Bourne Woods and Alice Holt forest.
Food & Drink
Farnham offers a huge selection of eateries for every taste, from a low-key bite to eat to a more formal dining experience there really is something for everyone. Farnham is home to Brasserie Blanc, Cote, The Botanist, Bills, Zizzi, and Pizza Express and many more. There are also many cafes and coffee shops including the usual high street brands such as Starbucks, Costa and Cafe Nero as well as small independent businesses like the Riverside Café at the Maltings or the Lion.
Nightlife
Farnham also has a large number of places to drink from the more traditional feel pubs such as The Nelson Arms and The Hop Blossom to the trendier venues such as The Wheatsheaf, The Botanist and Borellis.
Entertainment
With Farnham’s long association within the Arts and Craft scene the town offers a wide range of exhibitions and galleries. The University for the Creative Arts along with Maltings being the most varied. The Maltings has many exhibitions and craft fayres throughout the year as well as arts and craft classes with local artists in residence, its own cinema, many theatre productions and comedy nights. Other galleries include The New Ashgate Gallery and The James Hockey Gallery.

The town is also host to a fantastic food festival in September where the centre is closed to allow many stalls offering local produce and street food.
Activities
There is a wide range of activities to keep children entertained including Go Ape at Alice Holt, Birdworld, Miller’s Ark just outside Farnham, Soft Play, Rural Life Centre and bowling and cinema a short distance away in Aldershot.
There are many gyms and health clubs offering a huge range of classes, clubs and facilities for the whole family. There is a David Lloyd and Nuffield Health on the outskirts with several smaller gyms in and around the town also.
