Community Company Update

Bridges give back, a community initiative alongside The Rotary Club.

Back in December we mentioned about our Bridges elves who assisted The Rotary Club with their Christmas collection.

Our Farnborough collection raised just over £900 and we wanted to ensure the funds were donated to charities close to our hearts.

After a discussion among the Bridges team, we decided to split the funds between these 3 charities –

The Stroke Association – who support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. They believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke.

The charity provides specialist support, funds critical research and campaigns to make sure people affected by a stroke get the very best care and support to rebuild their lives.
The charity helps hundreds of thousands of people through one of the most frightening experiences of their lives and build a life after stroke. Unfortunately, this year one of our own has had to benefit from the work of this amazing charity which is why we chose them as a charity of choice. You can learn more about this awesome charity here – https://www.stroke.org.uk/

The Salvation Army –  Terry Barrett and Sam Humby proudly presented a donation cheque to the Salvation army.

The Salvation Army works in our communities and further afield, offering help to people in their darkest of hours, whatever their circumstances and whenever they need them. A fantastic charity who you can learn more about here – https://www.salvationarmy.org.uk/

And, finally, the third charity to share our donation was Henry Tynsdale School in Farnborough.

Henry Tyndale is a Community Special School catering for approximately 155 pupils, who have complex learning difficulties across the age range from two to nineteen years.

The school was delighted with our donation, presented by our Group Managing Director, Carlo Stocchetti,  and the money will be used towards essentials for the school and children!   You can learn more about the school here – https://www.henrytyndale.hants.sch.uk/welcome/

Big thanks to our Bridges collection team and we look forward to taking part in this Bridges tradition again later this year!
